1.Guest Eligibility

Project Heard is designed for adults seeking compassionate conversation and emotional support.

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to reserve or participate in a Project Heard conversation.

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Nature of Our Services

Project Heard provides supportive, compassionate conversation with the goal of helping guests feel heard, respected, and understood.

Project Heard is not:

Therapy

Counseling

Psychiatry

Psychological treatment

Medical care

Healthcare services

Coaching

Legal advice

Financial advice

Crisis intervention

Our conversations are intended solely as supportive listening and are not a substitute for professional care.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Project Heard does not diagnose, treat, or manage any medical or mental health condition.

Any information shared during a conversation should not be considered medical advice.

If you have concerns regarding your physical or mental health, please consult a licensed healthcare provider.

4. Legal Disclaimer

Project Heard does not provide legal advice or legal representation.

Any discussions involving legal matters are conversational only and should never replace advice from a licensed attorney.

5. Crisis & Emergency Services

Project Heard is not an emergency service.

If you are experiencing:

Thoughts of harming yourself

Thoughts of harming someone else

A medical emergency

A mental health crisis

Please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline immediately.

Project Heard is unable to provide crisis intervention.

6. Scheduling, Cancellation & Rescheduling

Guests may cancel or reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled conversation.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may not be eligible for a refund.

Missed appointments ("no-shows") are considered completed appointments and are generally non-refundable.

Project Heard reserves the right to determine exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

7. Refund Policy

Because Project Heard reserves time specifically for each guest, refunds are generally not provided once a conversation has taken place.

Refunds for canceled appointments are handled according to the Cancellation Policy.

If Project Heard cancels an appointment, guests will be offered either:

A full refund, or

The opportunity to reschedule.

8. Payment Policy

Payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment.

Appointments are not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed.

Project Heard reserves the right to update pricing at any time. Any pricing changes will not affect appointments that have already been confirmed.

9. Confidentiality

Project Heard values your privacy and will treat your information with care and respect.

Information shared during your conversation will remain confidential except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to address an immediate risk of serious harm.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for additional information regarding the collection, storage, and use of your personal information.

10. Project Heard's Right to Decline or End Conversations

Project Heard is committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for both guests and listeners.

Project Heard reserves the right to decline, postpone, reschedule, or end any conversation at any time if, in our reasonable judgment:

The conversation falls outside the scope of our services.

A guest requests therapy, counseling, medical advice, legal advice, or crisis intervention.

A guest's behavior becomes abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, sexually inappropriate, or otherwise unsafe.

A guest repeatedly disregards Project Heard's policies or boundaries.

We determine that another service or licensed professional would be more appropriate for the guest's needs.

If a conversation is ended under these circumstances, Project Heard will determine whether any refund or rescheduling is appropriate.

11. Guest Expectations

To create a safe and meaningful experience for everyone, guests agree to:

Treat Project Heard listeners with kindness and respect.

Communicate honestly.

Respect scheduled appointment times.

Participate in a safe and appropriate manner.

Understand the limitations of Project Heard's services.

Respect personal and professional boundaries.

Project Heard strives to create an environment where every guest feels welcomed, valued, and heard.

12. Respectful Conduct

Project Heard maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:

Harassment

Threatening behavior

Hate speech

Discrimination

Sexual harassment

Verbal abuse

Intimidation

If this behavior occurs, the conversation may be ended immediately without further obligation by Project Heard.

13. Limitation of Services

Project Heard cannot guarantee any particular emotional outcome or resolution.

While many guests may leave feeling heard, encouraged, or supported, every individual experience is unique.

14. Changes to These Terms

Project Heard reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The version in effect at the time of booking will apply to that appointment.
